GeoListen Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing, or continuing to use the GeoListen mobile app, users agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

Subject to compliance with these Terms of Service, GeoListen grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use GeoListen for personal, non-commercial use on a device they own or control.

All software, code, design, text, graphics, logos, user-interface elements, and other non-audio content made available through GeoListen are owned by GeoListen or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Audio content made available through GeoListen is provided by users (including artists) or sourced from third-party applications or services and is not owned by GeoListen. Such audio content remains the intellectual property of its respective rights holders. GeoListen does not claim ownership of audio content presented in the GeoListen mobile app.

By submitting or making audio content available through GeoListen, users represent and warrant that they own the necessary rights to the content or that the content is licensed in a manner that permits royalty-free use and commercial playback, including through third-party applications such as GeoListen.

GeoListen makes audio content available solely for playback within the app and only in connection with its gameplay and related features. No ownership rights in any audio content are transferred to GeoListen or to other users.

GeoListen reserves the right to remove any audio content that it reasonably believes violates intellectual property rights or applicable licensing terms.

GeoListen may present audio content, including music and spoken-word recordings, that contains explicit language, mature themes, or content that some users may find offensive. GeoListen does not review, endorse, or guarantee the suitability of audio content for any particular audience.

Users acknowledge and agree that audio content is provided by users or third-party sources, and that GeoListen is not responsible for the content of such audio. Parental discretion is advised for users under 18 years of age.

Users must be at least 13 years of age to use the GeoListen mobile app. Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian and acknowledge that the app may present music audio containing explicit language or mature themes.

Users are not permitted to:

• Modify, adapt, or hack the GeoListen mobile app
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use GeoListen in any way that violates any laws or regulations

Users agree not to falsify location data, use GPS spoofing tools, or manipulate game mechanics. Users will also refrain from abusive behavior and/or language on leaderboards. Consequences for violations may include score resets or account suspension.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GeoListen and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to use of GeoListen. In no event shall GeoListen’s total liability exceed the amount that was paid to use the GeoListen mobile app, if any.

Users who submit music audio or other content represent that they have the necessary rights to do so and retain ownership of their content, but grant GeoListen a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, and display such content solely in connection with GeoListen. This license applies only to content submitted directly by users and does not affect ownership of third-party audio content made available through the app.

Location data for music content presented in the GeoListen mobile app are for entertainment purposes only and may not reflect real-world conditions or precise locations. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of geographic or location-based content. GeoListen is not intended for navigation or real-world decision-making.

Certain features of the GeoListen mobile app use location-based information from the user’s device. Users control whether GeoListen has access to location services through their device settings. Location-based features may not function properly if location services are disabled or unavailable. Users agree not to manipulate or falsify location data, including through the use of GPS spoofing or similar tools.

In-game and reward ads may appear. All in-app purchases are final (except where US law requires refunds). Virtual items, if any, have no real-world monetary value and are non-transferable.

GeoListen is available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and may integrate third-party applications or services governed by their own terms and policies.

GeoListen reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the GeoListen mobile app if users violate the Terms of Service, or if continued access would pose legal, technical, or security risks. GeoListen is also under no obligation to continue offering the GeoListen mobile app.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

GeoListen may update its Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the GeoListen mobile app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
